JACQUELINE "JACKIE" JEAN CRENSHAW
April 13, 1937 – February 20, 2026
On Friday, February 20, 2026, Jacqueline Crenshaw, known as Jackie, passed away at the age of 88 years old in Dunwoody, Georgia. She was born on April 13, 1937 in St. Joseph, Illinois.
Jackie was valedictorian in high school. She was involved with many hobby/service clubs. She attended the University of Illinois and became employed as the first X-ray technician at Burnham Hospital.
Jackie also attended classes at Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York. She moved to Ocean Ridge, Florida and established and operated a customized design jewelry store in Delray Beach, Florida. Jackie married West Palm Beach attorney Phillip Crenshaw, June 3, 1979 at the picturesque Royal Poinciana Chapel in Palm Beach.
Local friends requested Jackie to establish a fund-raising committee to benefit the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami and subsequently develop a branch facility in Palm Beach Gardens.
Jackie was involved with donors and events at the Breakers Hotel. She was also involved with other charity organizations – all the while Jackie maintained a successful real estate career.
Jackie and Phil moved to Dunwoody, Georgia in 2020. Jackie lived a happy and interesting life. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Crenshaw; daughter Kim Lesko/husband Paul Lareau, and Jill Burnett/husband Keith Burnett; Granddaughters Janie Burnett Talarico/husband Brian Talarico; Jackie Morales Brady/husband Tyler; grandson Clayton Burnett/wife Laura; and step grandchildren Tony Alvarez/wife Kim. Great grandchildren: Emilia Talarico age 3 1/2 and Rylan Burnett age 1 1/2 and one step great grandson Tyler Alvarez.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14th, 2026, 2:00 pm at Dunwoody United Methodist Church Chapel, 1548 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody, GA.
